Family Update
We are happy to announce that on July 12th at 4:07AM our second son, Chase Matthew, came into the world! Our family of four has been on quite the adventure since! All the paperwork has been submitted for his passport. We also received his yellow fever exemption card (which is required to get into the country of South Sudan). Thank you for your prayers and all the cards we have received in celebration of his arrival.
South Sudan Update
In July, we received several praises because of the faithfulness of those who serve at Bible Baptist Church. Early in the month, a woman named Night came with her severely malnourished son. Our assistant pastor, Mori, sat with this mama and explained to her how she could be saved. That day she asked Jesus to be her Lord and Savior. Night and her son will have the opportunity to hear from God’s word everyday as they come to our feeding program. After church on two separate Sundays this month, we had visitors who came to know Christ as their Savior. One Sunday, two men got saved and another Sunday a woman named Evalin accepted Jesus! It has been such an encouragement to see our Manna cooks helping with the visitors after church. In the picture with the two men, the woman in the dark dress, Julia, and yellow dress, Margaret, are showing their spiritual growth by participating in helping others come to know Jesus!
Back At Home
We have enjoyed our time back at our home church. It has been nice to attend weekly services. Lincoln enjoys his class on Sunday’s and Wednesday’s.  I was also able to share with our Sunday school class what God is doing in South Sudan. We appreciate your prayers as we continue to make the preparations to head back to South Sudan as soon as possible.
