VBS Here and There
At the beginning of June, I flew to Texas to be the missionary during the missions minute at VBS. Chelsea and Lincoln stayed in Missouri and they too were able to be part of the VBS at our home church in Springfield, MO. A number of salvation decisions were made at both locations. Chelsea was able to lead 5  girls to the Lord throughout the week! Another  huge blessing was both VBS locations had an offering to support our ministry in South Sudan!
One Last Road Trip
As Lincoln went out of town for a family wedding (11 hours away), we took advantage and made one last trip to Tulsa, OK. There we were able to visit a church who has a heart for missions as well as report to a church who has been supporting us since the day we were approved as BBFI missionaries! They did this without ever seeing us, so it was special to be with them and share all that the Lord has done in South Sudan since the beginning!
South Sudan Update
We were happy to hear from Diana that the ladies conference was a success. They asked our fellow ministry team member Saada Williams to speak at the conference. What a blessing it is to hear that the women took the initiative to organize the women’s conference without being prompted or led by Chelsea. Praise the Lord we also heard that there were 12 visitors to the church in June and 4 of them received Christ as their Savior! Mori asked prayer for the children on our Manna feeding program, as there have been many reports of illness.
Family Update
We are enjoying every moment with Lincoln before he becomes a big brother. This month he began swim lessons and t-ball. It gives us peace of mind to know that our son can now swim and would be able to get himself to safety if he ever were to fall in! All our doctor appointments show that mom and baby are doing great. Chelsea is dealing with much more pain and discomfort. Please pray that Chase will come when he is ready and we will be patient in the waiting!
