In Acts 13 we see the first missionaries sent out of the church at Antioch. The members prayed for and encouraged the missionaries. This is exactly what Cherry Street Baptist Church has done for us. On Wednesday, August 26th, our church voted to send us out as missionaries to South Sudan. We are so grateful for this decision!
Through the years Chelsea and I both have been invested in and strengthened by the members of Cherry Street. We wouldn’t be the people we are today if it weren’t for the Sunday school teachers, visitation partners, fellow choir members and so many others who have helped us grow. Like those first missionaries in Acts, we are being sent by a church who loves us, prays for us, and encourages us. We also know they will hold us accountable to serve the Lord to the best of our ability in South Sudan. We are proud to be sent out of Cherry Street Baptist Church.
