A Family Comes to Know Jesus
A year ago, a young lady came to register her children for our Manna feeding program. That day, she got saved. Dokiya has been faithful to attend Bible Study, Discipleship, Women’s fellowship, ladies song practice, and attend Sunday Morning services. She asked for prayer for her husband Calisto that he would stop drinking and would lead the family in a positive direction. As time went on, Calisto was working on the compound more, and through this he began attending the daily devotion that Peter leads. He began attending church services every Sunday. One Sunday his father came to the church for the first time. That day Baba Calisto prayed for Salvation. Two weeks later after Sunday morning services, Calisto came to Peter and said, “I cannot leave here today until I trust Jesus as my Savior.” Dokiya, Calisto, and Baba Calisto are coming to church every Sunday and Calisto is beginning discipleship! |

Thank you for praying for our volunteer fair! We had at least 25 new people sign up to help in our various ministries at Bible Baptist Church. It is encouraging to see our church attenders take the next step in serving the Lord by committing to serve in various ministries. |
On Saturday March 23rd, we took a bus and van to the river full of people ready to be baptized! That day we baptized 27 new believers, varying from teenagers to one of our faithful Yaba’s in his 70’s! The evening of Easter Sunday we observed the Lord’s Table together. It was a blessing to see these new baptized believers take time to reflect on the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. |
We began with a rainy Easter morning. Thankfully this did not keep us from a sunrise service! It is always special to share that morning with children, youth, and adults who come for this special Easter service. Later in the day, we had our Sunday Morning Easter service with a record high of 86 adults and over 250 children. We had two young girls from English Sunday School (Stella and Sarah) as well as a first-time visitor (Viola) get saved on Easter Sunday! Praise the Lord! |

Our women always have a great time at our monthly fellowships! |
On Wednesday evenings after service we have a time of prayer. Normally, Mori prays with the children, but this week one of our youth volunteered to pray with the children. It is always encouraging to see the youth willingly serve without being asked! |
We are so proud to see our youth teach children’s Sunday school! |
One of Chelsea’s favorite times of the week is teaching these women. On Wednesday they have discipleship and Thursday they have Bible Study. |
