As we enter this blessed season of celebrating the birth of our Savior, we want to pause and express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued prayers and support throughout this year. We pray that you experience the peace and joy of Christ in a special way this Christmas. This year has been one of growth and encouragement, and we’re excited to share what God is doing both here and abroad.

Furlough Update

We have had the privilege of visiting several new churches, as well as reconnecting with our faithful supporting churches, in Kentucky, Texas, Missouri, and Ohio. Each church visit has been an incredible blessing as we’ve had the opportunity to share what God is doing in our ministry, and to hear testimonies of His faithfulness from our partners in ministry. One of these testimonies was during a mission conference in Texas. Each evening, we ate dinner with the church family. The first night, we sat with a man and his two daughters. As we were talking to him, a lady in the church came up and asked his older daughter if she had ever accepted Jesus as her Savior. She said she wasn’t sure, so the lady took her into another room and spent the time showing her from God’s word what it means to be saved. Later that week, the father told us that not only did hid older daughter get saved that night, but on the way home the younger daughter was asking how she too could be saved. He said she also prayed for salvation that week.

South Sudan Update

It’s been a blessing to hear that the ministry in South Sudan is going wonderfully. We receive messages most weeks from Mori, Peter, or Saada letting us know of another soul who has placed their faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Recently, we heard about a husband, Anthony, who came with his wife, Florence. She had gotten saved about 3 months ago and had been faithful to bring her children to church weekly. Anthony came with her in November, and he got saved that day! We are overjoyed by reports like these and continue to thank God for His hand at work. Please keep the ministry there in your prayers, as there is much to be done, but we are seeing lives transformed by the gospel!

Upcoming Events:

We have several important events planned over the next few weeks, and we ask for your prayers in these areas:

  • Feeding Center Closing Day: Our feeding program continues to impact the lives of children in need, but we believe this is more than just about providing physical nourishment. Please pray for our Feeding Center Closing Day, where we will invite the parents of the children in the program to hear the gospel. We pray that many will come and, by God’s grace, that they will come to know Christ as their Savior.
  • Church Choir Christmas Cantata: Our church choir is preparing to perform at a local hospital this year, bringing the message of Christ through song. Please pray that their performance will touch the hearts of many, and that it will open doors for further ministry in that setting.
  • Christmas Cinema & Christmas Day Service: We are excited to host our Christmas Cinema, where we will show the Jesus film to the community. Many in our neighborhood who may not attend church on a Sunday morning will participate, and we pray that the message of Christ’s birth will resonate deeply in their hearts. We also look forward to our Christmas Day Service as we celebrate together the gift of God’s Son.
