One month down in 2021 and what a great start to the year it has been. We are so very thankful for how God continues to provide and bless!

First Long Trip Out

Our deputation trail began at Fellowship Baptist Church in Aurora, MO. The pastor of this church was a missionary in Kenya for 10 years and went to South Sudan a couple times to minister to refugees during their civil war. This wonderful church gave us their whole Wednesday night to share our field of South Sudan. We had a great time of fellowship with the church members.
We spent the rest of the month in the Fort Worth, TX area. Our first Sunday morning we were at Hallmark Baptist Church where we had the opportunity to speak to four Sunday School classes about the need for the gospel in South Sudan. Next, we attended the Texas Baptist Bible Fellowship Meeting at Granbury Baptist Church in Granbury, TX. What a great time of worship and encouragement we were able to have with old and new friends! The following weekend we spent time in Bowie, TX at Calvary Baptist Church. This church welcomed us with open arms and treated us like family.  The ladies of the church had a special time where they blessed and encouraged Chelsea, and she was so overwhelmed by their kindness. Our prayer at every church is that we would see believers called to the mission field, whether it is in their hometown or around the World.

The Urgency

We would ask you to pray with us that we can get to South Sudan as soon as possible. There is an urgency to help with the ministry in South Sudan. Recently the church has been able to re-open the feeding center which previously was reduced to a weekly food pick-up due to Covid-19. With the center open again we have a greater opportunity to share the gospel with these families. Our secondary school will re-open on April 2nd, therefore please pray for Pastor Ron and Christine Enoch, Saada, Mr. Millie (head teacher) and Pastor Mori as they work through the details and preparation. Continue to pray for Pastor Mori and Peter as they do their best to stay focused on the ministry. Please pray that we will trust the Lord with all the details as we continue to travel and raise support to get to South Sudan.
